They have a big lead but, rain is forecast from 14:00 onwards for the rest of the day. Tomorrow doesn’t look that clever either.
If you believe the forecast, surely there won’t be enough
time for them to bowl Hampshire out for a second time.
Meanwhile Tom Alsop, the Hampshire wicketkeeper is off the
field with what looks like a bruised hand.
Aneurin Donald has taken on the gloves. It’s our first look at the 21 year old
in any meaningful action for Hampshire.
He’s on loan from Glamorgan ahead of a
two year deal starting next season. I’m not sure how many times he’s kept wicket before, but so far he looks competent.
